Amy Lou Abernethy began her career as an educator but was soon drawn into the world of visual storytelling and video production. In addition to co-founding and nurturing the agency AMP Creative, she followed her heart back to the art and science of adult learning a few years ago, getting her masters in learning in digital environments. Standing at the crossroads of learning innovation and cinematic storytelling, Amy Lou collaborates with companies to develop transformative learning experiences and AMP Creative produces those experiences. She looks for opportunities to connect with people through stories, across a variety of mediums, from printed infographics to immersive virtual reality.

Cindy Van Den Berge, Quality Advisor, FedEx Corporate

Cindy Van Den Berge is an award-winning quality management and process improvement professional.  With over 25 years’ experience, she has worked with companies such as IBM, McKesson and FedEx, and her quality initiatives have booked over $50M in validated savings.  Cindy is also a trainer, blogger, and speaker.  She has also co-lectured on quality for the University of Memphis. She has undergraduate degrees in Mathematics, Applied Statistics and Philosophy.  She has an MBA with emphasis on technology management.

Allyson Gilbert, CEO, Adaptation

Allyson Gilbert is a frequent speaker and leader in organizational change and business transformation. Over the last 20 years, she has successfully developed transformation strategies that have turned around business operations and prepared companies for the New World of Work.  Allyson has built a business that has enabled her to connect with corporate leaders and focus on the dynamics of an organization as it works thru changes in ways of thinking, problem solving, and digital and robotic technologies. She continues to contribute to her community as a Board member for the American Red Cross-Jersey Coast Chapter and a member of the Rutgers Advisory Board for Customer Experience-Center for Innovation Education.

Hyun-Sook Lee, Transformation Consultant – Adaptation, Inc.

Hyun-Sook is a process improvement and project management professional. With over 25 years’ experience, she has helped large financial services, entertainment and media companies develop and implement process redesign including leading large technology initiatives. Her approach consists of applying Agile and Design Thinking methodologies. Most recently, she has been helping a $2.5 billion New York City Agency transform various operational processes. She has undergraduate degrees in Biology and Japanese Studies and an MBA with emphasis on Marketing and Operations.

Melissa D. Nichols, Quality and Continuous Improvement Advisor, FedEx


Melissa Nichols is currently working as an Advisor at FedEx Corporation on their Enterprise Quality and Continuous Improvement Strategy team. In this role, she is responsible for the successful planning and execution of communication and promotional campaigns, management of the Enterprise-wide Quality reward and recognition program and providing thought-leadership on modern applications of Quality and Continuous Improvement practices in daily and project work including Design Thinking tools and methodology. Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Business Administration with concentrations in Strategic Management and Innovation from the University of Illinois.
