Sonali Doshi, Global Brand Manager – The Right To Shower, Unilever

A graduate from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, Sonali Doshi has been working in brand management at Unilever for 8 years across a variety of functions, brands and countries. She started her career creating candy-inspired novelty ice creams, then selling iced Lipton tea, and then to work across the women’s deodorant business where she launched the innovative aerosol dry sprays. Seeking international experience, Sonali shifted to Hindustan Unilever in India to join the global Dove skin cleansing team, where she built a market development model to grow body wash in D&E markets. Upon her return to the states, Sonali took an opportunity to dive into Unilever’s Sustainable Living Plan through managing the corporate Unilever brand and sustainability initiatives across categories. Since then, she’s continued to push the sustainability and purpose agenda forward by crafting a new social enterprise within Unilever: The Right To Shower.

Abena Asare brings brands to life and has crafted digital strategies across some of the most well-known brands in the beauty and personal care space. Abena, a graduate from Yale University with an MBA from Harvard Business School, has spent the last 6 years working at Unilever managing various brands and currently leads the Digital Innovation Hub across Unilever’s Beauty and Personal Care portfolio including brands like Dove, Axe, Suave, Degree and TRESemmé. Prior to joining Unilever, Abena spent 5 years in the Automotive industry at Ford Motor Company. Abena has spent her career driving innovation and discovering how to bring ideas to life for household companies and major brands.
Laurel Mintz, Founder & CEO of Elevate My Brand
Laurel Mintz founded Elevate My Brand in 2009. EMB is a full service digital and experiential marketing agency working with startups and global brands like Verizon, Zendesk, Boy Scouts of America, Bassett, and Susan G. Komen.
Laurel sits on the Board of Directors for NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship), The American Heart Association and The Fender Music Foundation, and serves as a mentor for The Women's Global Leaders Initiative. Laurel's agency recently won the W3 Silver Award for their work on the 2016 PAW Patrol Road Patrol Campaign, the 2017 Patrick Soon-Shiong Innovation Award and the Los Angeles Business Journal's Women in Business Award, among others. Laurel received her B.A. from UCSB and J.D., M.B.A. from Rutgers University.
